CPC Freight Services Limited was incorporated in August 2004 as a subsidiary of Central Purchasing Company Limited . Prior to incorporation, the functions of the company where performed by a division of Central Purchasing Company Ltd. The company is the only licensed provider of a wide range of freight handling and storage services for import/export cargo in or through Jinja.
The company has a dedicated and experienced team of shipping, clearing and forwarding professionals.

The Internal Container Depot at Jinja has Bonded Warehouse with capacity of 890sqm which can accommodate 27 TEUs of general cargo. Additional warehouses(not bonded) are also available . Furthermore the Motor Vehicle Bond has available storage space of 4430sqm with the capacity to store 350 vehicle units. The Container yard can accommodate 950 TEUs and 50trucks can also be parked comfortably in the yard. The Verification Bay can accommodate 8 trucks to be verified by Customs when the need arises.
As regards handling of cargo the ICD has one Hyster Container Handler of 40tons capable of handling 20’ and 40’ Containers. There are also three forklift truckers of varying lifting capacity 7tons, 5tons, and 3tons plus a cargo trolley for handling general cargo in the Bond.
